Join us for an online (unrecorded) seminar exploring the desire of the analyst as the driving force in analytic treatment, with Dr Dries Dulsster

On the Desire of the Analyst
In 1964 Lacan states that: “without going into the mainspring of transference, it is ultimately the analyst’s desire that operates in psychoanalysis.” In this online presentation, we will explore the fundamental role of the analyst’s desire. This discussion will address key questions: What is a psychoanalyst and what defines the desire of the analyst? How does it function within the treatment? What are the implications for analytic training and supervision?
Join us for an in-depth exploration of these crucial concepts and their impact on psychoanalytic practice.
Please note that this seminar will NOT be recorded or uploaded to YouTube.
