At times synonymous with Critical Psychology and Discourse Analysis, Ian Parker is also a practicing psychoanalyst and leading figure in the Lacanian field. He is currently the President of the College of Psychoanalysts \u2013 UK.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Parker\u2019s latest book takes a turn to the personal, exploring his own journey into psychoanalysis before opening onto a discussion of the place and practice of psychoanalysis in our contemporary culture. Following a short introduction to the book, Professor Parker is interviewed by Calum Neill.
